About Dr. Ed Hindson

Ed_Desk_Head_Knee_smallDr. Ed Hindson is the Bible Teacher on The King Is Coming telecast. He is also the Assistant Chancellor, Distinguished Professor, and Dean of the Institute of Biblical Studies and the School of Religion at Liberty University in Virginia.
Besides teaching thousands of students each week, he is an active conference speaker and a prolific writer. Ed has written over 40 books, including Final Signs; Approaching Armageddon and The Illustrated Bible Survey (B&H). He has served as the editor of five major Study Bibles, including the Gold Medallion Award-winning Knowing Jesus Study Bible (Zondervan) and the best-selling King James Study Bible (Thomas Nelson). He is co-editor the new 16-volume Twenty-First Century Biblical Commentary series on the New Testament (AMG).
Dr. Hindson is probably one of the most well-educated Bible teachers on the air today. He is a graduate of William Tyndale College. He holds the Master of Arts (M.A.) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Grace Theological Seminary. He also holds the Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) from Trinity Graduate School, the Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) from Westminster Theological Seminary, and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of South Africa.
Dr. Hindson has a gift for making complicated Biblical passages easy to understand for the average Bible student. Thanks to his experience as a university professor, he has a unique ability to communicate Bible truths to today’s generation.
Ed and his wife Donna are natives of Detroit, Michigan. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Ed says, “My greatest desire is to lift up Jesus Christ and proclaim His Gospel to the entire world.”
