“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
February is usually the time when the enthusiasm for the New Year has begun to wane and real, everyday life with all of its schedules and routines have resumed.
The new fear and stress comes from watching the chaos around the world… Earthquakes, tsunamis, shootings, and constant threats from ISIS and other terrorist organizations have left many feeling like there cannot be much hope for our world today.
James tells us to “count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” but that isn’t always easy. Just ask my daughter Linda and her family. In 2006, Linda, her husband Andy, her 15 year old daughter Jen and her 11 year old son Josh were driving home from church when they were hit by a drunk driver going 80 mph. The four of them were each badly injured, and Jen wasn’t expected to survive the night. It was horrible. We were heartbroken. She had suffered a traumatic brain injury and remained in a coma for months. The doctors weren’t very optimistic about her condition, but we gathered around Jen and continued to pray for her day in and day out.
Jen not only woke up from the coma, she has gone on to make an incredible recovery in the last nine years. Things are still not easy for her, but our family is incredibly grateful for what the Lord has done in her life. Today, she and her mom travel across the country, speaking to women and encouraging them in the Lord. As they have traveled, Linda has met countless women who are hurting, broken, and carrying heavy burdens.
Linda watched her family go through one of the most difficult seasons anyone could imagine, so she understands heavy burdens. Life can seem overwhelming, but she believes, as do I, that as followers of Jesus, we have access to an unlimited source of joy.
I want all of you to be able to experience that joy and that is why I want to tell you about my daughter’s new Bible Study, Total Bliss. Explore the wisdom and encouragement found in the Book of Philippians. Total Bliss is truly an exciting and dynamic 5 week study that will help you and your friends uncover the secret to true contentment and help you experience a joyful heart.
For a gift of $35 or more to the work of World Prophetic Ministry and The King is Coming Telecast, we will send you a copy of the 5-lesson Total Bliss DVD and the companion workbook. I know that these words of truth from my daughter Linda will be sure to encourage you.
I want to personally thank you for your support of the work of World Prophetic Ministry. Because of you, we are able to get the truth and the encouragement of the Word of God around the world!
In this month’s newsletter, the threat from ISIS and other terror groups is growing. The possibility of a nuclear arms battle is looming and the situation in the Middle East may seem especially dangerous. That is why I think it is so important to study The Word of God, especially Biblical prophecy. When I look at Bible prophecy, I don’t see things to fear, I see hope.
We serve a God who has a plan and who is in control and who has won the fight against evil. That gives me great joy! By giving to the work of this ministry, you are helping us spread that joy to people who have never heard it.
I would love to send you a set of Total Bliss. I hope it encourages you to find your joy in Christ TODAY!
God bless you,
